2nd Solutions understands our responsibility and your corporate liability which is why we enforce a strict "no landfill" policy and partner with a federally mandated e-scrap processor to be certain all electronics are recycled in the appropriate manner. Our goal is to extend the life of every device we process. However, if it can not be re-marketed on the secondary level, it is stripped down to its components and the feedstock is sold to manufacturers to be used in new products. Everything down to the plastic and cables is recycled. It is important to note that 100% of the devices we receive are either resold or demanufactured for parts. After each shipment is processed, we provide a "certificate of environmental stewardship" to our clients.
This service is an integral part of our enterprise buy back programs and is NOT an extra charge. (The only items that we are forced to charge to recycle are Cathode Ray Tubes, in other words CRT’s or TV’s, as the correct handling and disassembly of these highly toxic items requires special transportation and facilities.)
